Terms and conditions
By entering, registering and bidding in Steelhammer internet auctions, bidders irrevocably agree with following terms and conditions:
1.Participants
By registering and bidding in Steelhammer auction, bidders understand and agree that they are making a legal commitment to pay any item where they have made the highest bid in the auction. They also understand and agree that non-performing in payment obligations, they are obliged to pay penalties for each item they have non-performed, also Steelhammer has all rights to use any third party services or assistance for collecting these payments from non-performing buyer. Buyers are not allowed to give their registration information for third parties use without Steelhammers written permission. Participants also agree that they will not use any device, software, routine, robot, spider, spyware or whatever device or automated means to interfere proper working of Steelhammer website or any auction on it; also agree not to take any action that imposes a disproportionately large amount of information or data load to our system, themselves or through any third party. Immediate legal action will take place against any party who will breach this condition and penalty claim in the amount of minimum 1.000.000,00 Euros will be charged from this party. Steelhammer has all rights to refuse a registration to our website without any further notice or explanation. Steelhammer has also rights to change, remove or add any conditions of the auction or website without any prior notice. Our terms for transport and buyers fees and taxation are also part of conditions buyers agree to follow.
2.Liability
Participants agree to release Steelhammer or any of its workers or associates for any claims, demands, damages, losses, lost profits or any other claims which may occur from using our website and participating to our auctions. Steelhammer as private company is acting as auctioneer for items from other owners and therefore Steelhammer nor any of his employees and associates have not anykind of responsibility of any technical or any other condition of the item or any financial commitment of the item or any documentation of the item. Items are offered based on single inspection and information given to Steelhammer by the owner of the item. Only exception is with mistakes in our website, which very clearly changes the value of the item (this means ONLY and PURELY mistakes in the age of the item or in the quantity of the item(s)), in these cases no penalties will be charged for non-performing. Steelhammer cannot be hold financially responsible for any of these mistakes
3.Legal claims
In the case of possible legal support is needed between parties, Finnish law is applicable and Finnish court ow law will judge the case. The judging language of terms and conditions is English, any translations in our website are without legal force against English version. Steelhammer is assisting all parties involved with all facts in his possession.
4.Privacy
Steelhammer requires from you personal information for the registration. This information is kept strictly confidential and will not be released to any third parties, unless criminal or any other government investigation with legal right to demand this information, is involved. Steelhammer has all rights to control your company through any third party, including creditability investigators. Your contact information may be used for e-mail campaigns from Steelhammer. All information Steelhammer gathers from his clients, including banking information is considered confidential. As security breaches may occur always when communicating in Internet, we want you to understand that Steelhammer cannot be hold responsible for any loss or damage related to any privacy and security limitations which are beyond our control.
5.Non-circumvention
During auctions bidders and sellers are committed to non-circumvention conditions and herewith commit not to search any contact among registered sellers and buyers through any other source than Steelhammer
6.Payments
All payments take place through bank wire due to security reasons. Banking details are enclosed in the Proforma Invoice.
